What is Putting Care at the Center 2024?

Putting Care at the Center 2024 is this year’s annual conference on complex care in America. From October 16-18 in Pittsburgh, PA, attendees will explore through plenary panels, workshop sessions, community site visits, and our interactive Beehive the latest research, practice innovation, and policy that advances health equity and whole person care for people with complex needs. Join us to meet and network with leaders improving care for people with complex health and social needs from across the country.

Who should attend Putting Care at the Center 2024?

Putting Care at the Center is the annual opportunity for the complex care field to come together and connect around improving care for people with complex health and social needs.

We welcome:

  1. individuals with lived experience of complex needs and their caregivers;
  2. providers, including social workers, nurses, physicians, community health workers, pharmacists, and more;
  3. leaders and staff from community-based organizations;
  4. researchers;
  5. administrators;
  6. policymakers;
  7. health plans;
  8. advocates; and
  9. anyone looking to work across sectors to improve care for those who need it most.
Where is the conference being held? Is there a group rate for the conference?

Putting Care at the Center 2024 will be held at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown in Pittsburgh, PA. The group rate is $199 USD per night and is available from now through September 21. After September 21, reservations will not be available at the conference group rate.

Is the conference accessible to people with disabilities?

We strive to make our conferences accessible to as many attendees as possible. The conference takes place on two (2) floors of the Wyndham Grand. The lobby and ballroom level of the hotel with elevator access. If you have specific accessibility needs, please email [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate you.

 

 

 

What are your COVID protocols?

The safety and comfort of all conference attendees is our highest priority. Many people who attend Putting Care at the Center are individuals who live with complex medical needs and other health conditions that can make them more likely to experience serious complications from COVID infection.

We ask that all conference attendees take all reasonable precautions to protect the health and safety of our complex care community by being up to date on COVID (and other) vaccination/boosters. While masks may not be required at this conference, we support your choice to wear or forgo a mask. Masks will be available at the conference registration desk if you would like to wear one as a precaution.

If you are experiencing any symptoms or have had a known COVID exposure before or during the conference, we ask that you please follow appropriate isolation/quarantine guidelines and make our conference staff aware immediately.

We will decide on mask requirements closer to the conference date and notify attendees via email. We thank you in advance for your commitment to keep our community safe.

How much does it cost to attend?

Early bird registration is $795. Regular registration is $895.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
