Lessons from Complex Care in California was the final plenary session of November 2017’s Putting Care at the Center conference, the second annual conference of the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs.

This panel featuring prominent California healthcare leaders and advocates reflects on the opportunities and challenges that the state currently faces. With California’s large, diverse population, participants will be able to learn from local and statewide policies and specific models of care that have shown success. Panelists also share effective practices and research that have emerged, as well as lessons from MediCal 2020 and Whole-Person Care Pilots. Finally, the panelists discuss sustainability for the state’s policies and how other communities and states can learn from California.
